Mel is an actuary with the highly-unusual combination of having spent several years of his career designing and pricing COLI and BOLI products followed by several years as President and CEO of two of the largest COLI and BOLI distribution companies in this country. The insights into the business gained over the past 40 years, combined with his leadership and creative problem-solving skills uniquely qualifies Mel to lead our company. 

Prior to joining COLI Consulting Group, Jaree was a partner in the labor and employment law practice of Worsham Forsythe & Wooldridge, LLP in Dallas, Texas (now Hunton& Williams LLP). Jaree advised and represented management and corporate clients in all aspects of labor and employment law including workforce restructuring and downsizing, executive compensation, employment contracts, non-compete agreements, labor union relations, compliance with the FMLA, ADA, FLSA and other various state and federal employment laws.  

Chris graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she earned her BA in Accounting and began her career with KPMG as a Certified Public Accountant. She is the former Director of Client Services for The Todd Organization where she worked for 10 years and had oversight for over 700 nonqualified plans. Her combined years in the executive benefits market along with her financial background with KPMG brings a body of knowledge and expertise capable of coordinating and acting as liaison with finance, human resources, legal and the executive group.
